Barack Obama is a great orator but get him away from his teleprompter and the phrase “Obama said what?” comes up quite often. He seems to depend on the liberal media not focusing on his comments to the extent that they focus on Mit Romney’s comments.

Let’s look at several of Obama’s recent comments. As recently as two days ago, the President made the extraordinary comment that his plan worked. One commentator said that his plan worked if it was a plan to set the country on fire. His apologists immediately rushed forward to say that he was taken out of context and was talking about something else. One look at the transcript and you know exactly what Obama is talking about. But you be the judge.

We then have his comments on small business, during which he denigrated every small businessman, businesswoman and every entrepreneur with his now famous “You didn’t build that” comment. A key question that we must ask is this: who paid for the teachers, the roads, the bridges? It seems that the President doesn’t understand that the taxpayers, either private or businesses, paid for them. Again, you be the judge.

Then of course we have his “private sector is doing fine” comment which was later disavowed. If 23 million unemployed and underemployed means that the private sector is doing fine, Obama needs a lesson in capitalism. Of course, you’ll notice that he focuses on the public sector which increased by 20% in a few short years. You be the judge.

Finally, we have an oldie but a goodie. You all will remember ”If You Like Your Plan, You Can Keep Your Plan.” Of course, that was just a flat-out lie and Obama knew it. Just like the double counting of the $500 billion Medicaid cuts that enabled the Democrats to bring Obamacare in under $1 trillion for ten years. Or the taxation for ten years but services for only six years.

Finally, let’s compare and contrast the coverage or lack thereof of Obama’s comments by the liberal media with the veritable firestorm that Mitt Romney encountered with his well-reasoned comments about the London Olympics. Understand, this is the man that ran the most financially successful Olympics Games in the history of the modern Olympics. He knows something about running things which is more than can be said about Obama, excluding campaigns. Here are his comments.

Romney’s one problem was that everything that he said about the London Olympics was true. The private security company was understaffed and the military needed to be brought in to provide additional security. The UK Border Agency staff at the airports were threatening to strike. And the organizers were not completely organized. Other than that, everything was just fine.
