In some respects, Chief Justice John Roberts made sure that the multitude of fees and fines in Obamacare are now officially a tax. You’re probably thinking, ‘so what, I’ll still have to pay them.’
As a tax, the Congress can now reverse it with simple majorities with the House and the Senate. As long as the Republicans can control the House, the Senate and the White House, Obamacare will be dead as a dodo come next January.
The Republicans will now need to make the Democrats pay for starting this travesty. For starters, they voted a criminal contempt charge against the attorney general to send a message. The vote was 255 to 67 with1 voting present and 110 not willing to vote at all.
They should demand in no uncertain terms that a special prosecutor be named to call a grand jury. Then they need to preempt the President by suggesting potential choices so that he doesn’t name a biased prosecutor.
The House has already scheduled a vote to repeal Obamacare for July 11th. We all know that Harry Reid will not schedule a vote in the Senate unless pressure is brought to bear on him. Well, give him a choice. Without a vote in the Senate, there should be no votes on the Highway Transportation Bill, the Farm Bill or the Student Loans Bill.
Then the Republicans need to respond to each accusation by Reid and his allies by simply saying, ‘Schedule a vote on Obamacare repeal first, then we’ll vote.’ Remember, this is a tactic often used by Democrats in both houses of the Congress. This type of tactic works both ways.
Votes in either chamber against repeal and the institution of the largest tax in American history will definitely be used against members in the coming November elections. Some have opined that the taxes could amount to $800 billion to as much $1 trillion.
Coming on top of the coming avalanche of taxes in January, the Supreme Court has tagged the Democrats has the largest taxers in the history of the United States, led by their Taxer-in-Chief. Make no mistake, the Republicans must make Obama and the Democrats pay for their attempt to destroy the economy and flaunt the Constitution.
The people will get the last word on this subject. Obama and his allies may have won this battle in the Court but his Attorney General has been found in criminal contempt of the House. The Republicans and the Tea Partiers will now organize against the President with a determination that the Democrats could never match.
As I sit here at 4:54 PM EDT, the Romney campaign has already raised $1.5 million since this morning. Other Republican-leaning organizations have raised considerable amounts of money.
The Republican, Tea Party and conservatives determination to remove Barack Obama will not be daunted. Expect the next four months to be just as exciting as today.

We cannot afford Obamacare and increasing taxes is not going to help our healthcare situation. The long term effective approach is to have healthcare be a free market system.

I think the Supreme Court decision on Obamacare is going to help Obama in the long haul. Surely it makes him look like the winner of the dispute and of course all the uninsured are not going to care about who is going to pay for Obamacare, so they are happy with this decision. All latest polls conducted after Thursday are supporting this idea.
Now it’s going to get very hard for Romney.
I don’t really agree with the decision helping Obama. Once it becomes clear that the ruling paves the largest tax increase in the history of this country, the center and right will be galvanized against him. I expect to write about this in the next several days.
